What we’re looking for: We are looking for a constructive and interactive discussion based on the SDG/ Laudato Si’ topic of responsible consumption and production. The United Nations advocates for better planning for consumption and production, sustainable practices ingrained in consumer behavior and business actions, as well as countries’ adherence to international standards on proper disposal of chemicals and waste, all contribute to making consumption and production more efficient all over the world. Similarly, Pope Francis claims that, “humanity is called to recognize the need for changes of lifestyle, production and consumption…” as stated in his encyclical, Laudato Si’. Please add to the discussion of this parallel and its significance to the UN and the Vatican through the use of media such as videos, photos, articles, websites, research documents, and relevant personal comments.
